VAAST "simple" file specification

  • The Vaast simple file is a tab-delimited file with the following header line:
    • RANK Gene p-value p-value-ci Score LOD Variants
  • Lines preceded by # are considered comments

Table Format specification

  • The table format is a headerless, tab-delimited file of 2 columns
  • Column 1 is the gene name, Column 2 is a score
    • Gene Score
  • Phevor assumes the higher the score, the stronger the candidate gene
